What We Expect From Our Puppy Families

 At Sennenhund Acres, our puppies are raised with intention, care, and lifelong responsibility in mind. Choosing one of our puppies means becoming part of an extended family, and we carefully select homes that share our values and commitment to the well-being of our dogs. 

 We expect our puppy families to view their dog as a lifetime companion, not a temporary addition. Our dogs are bred to be cherished family members and should remain in loving homes for their entire lives. 

 Our puppies are raised in our home and are accustomed to being part of daily family life. We expect our puppies to live indoors as family members, not in outdoor kennels or isolated environments. 

Puppy families must commit to:

• Routine veterinary care 
•  Appropriate nutrition and weight management
• Preventative care, including parasite control and general wellness

 We expect families to continue:

• Positive, reward-based training
• Proper socialization throughout puppyhood and adolescence
• Age-appropriate structure, boundaries, and guidance
  Early foundation work is provided, but consistency at home is essential.

Our puppies are placed in homes that understand the responsibility of owning a large breed. This includes appropriate exercise, mental enrichment, supervision, and a safe living environment. 

 Puppies are placed under clear breeding or non-breeding agreements. Breeding rights are never assumed, and all puppies placed as non-breeding are sold under a clear, written non-breeding contract
